Sports Photo

I took this photo at a volleyball tournament over the weekend. I was using my friends camera as we were having a competition to see who could take a better action shot. I felt this one was pretty cool. We were shooting with a 1/320 second shutter speed and a 1600 ISO. The lighting was perfect at the Oakland Convention Center where we were shooting, so we didn't really have to adjust the lighting on the camera other than to reduce the noise caused by the high shutter speed. I really like this picture because it captured the moment. You can see the net moving after the ball hit it which is pretty cool.

  1. I like how u froze the action in the picture. But one thing you can improve about it is its composition. Instead of capturing more of the ceiling, maybe you could have got more of the player's body in the picture. Nevertheless,it is still good picture.

  2. I completely agree with Josh on this. I definitely like how you captured that moment, but like he said, maybe less of the ceiling would have captured more of the action. Good picture, that was a great game.
